Firestone and Eastern Architectural Representatives, Woburn, Mass. together donated $10,000 to the Foundation Friends Program of the North/East Roofing Educational Foundation, Inc. (NEREF).

New Firestone UNA-CLAD UC-14 Roofing System
The new UNA-CLAD UC-14 Roofing System's continuous interlocking design includes an easy, snap-together seam that reduces installation time as it requires no mechanical seaming or separate battens.  Also, the UC-14 system is compliant with the ASTM E1592 standard for uniform static air pressure, ATSM E1646 standard for water penetration, ASTM E1680 standard for air infiltration, UL 580 Class 90 listed, and is eligible for Firestone Red Shield Warranty coverage up to 20 years.

Firestone Enters Green Roofing Market Through Partnerships with LiveRoof, LLC and SunPower Corporation
Firestone recently announced alliances with two leaders in eco-friendly commercial roofing solutions – LiveRoof®, LLC and SunPower Corporation (Nasdaq: SPWR), a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells, solar panels, and solar systems.  The new partnerships will allow Firestone to expand its already diverse product offerings into the continuously expanding green markets with new garden roofing and solar electric power roofing systems.

Firestone Master Contractor Award Recognizes Industry Leaders
Firestone recently awarded 262 roofing contractors in the U.S., Canada and Mexico with the 2008 Firestone Master Contractor Award.  This year’s recipients were presented the award during a recognition event held at the Desert Springs, A JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, Calif.
