  9. User will in no way disparage, defame, derogate, or otherwise degrade FSBP and its related entities, its products, or the Materials.
  10. User agrees that it is solely responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to any advertising promotions.
  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP's request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.

Single Roof-Edge Flashing For 20-Year EPDM & TPO Systems
Firestone is pleased to announce that only one flashing is now required at the roof edge for a 20-Year Red Shield Warranty for all EPDM and TPO roofing systems. Detail Drawings for all applicable systems have been updated and are posted on the Technical Database.

EcoWhite EPDM Accessories Application Instructions
Firestone introduced EcoWhite EPDM QuickSeam accessory products to accompany the full line of RubberGard EcoWhite EPDM membranes. Use of these products is a cost effective way to detail any EcoWhite roofing system. Refer to the table in the full bulletin for a complete list of EcoWhite accessory parts, descriptions, and part numbers.

Firestone Building Products provides the Metal Roof System Code Approval Guide, now current with the latest testing results. Firestone’s continual investment in the UNA-CLAD product line has led to several new code approvals. The updated guide can be found on the Technical Database.

RubberGard EcoWhite Platinum EPDM Membrane
Firestone is pleased to announce the addition of EcoWhite Platinum EPDM to the popular EcoWhite product line. Firestone RubberGard EcoWhite Platinum EPDM is a 0.090” (2.2 mm) non-reinforced, bi-laminate, white-on-black, cured single-ply roofing membrane that can be used in fully adhered Firestone Roofing Systems.

Firestone Roofing Systems and Photovoltaic (PV) Installations
When roofing systems are used as PV platforms, steps must be taken to protect the roofing system from membrane puncture, insulation compression, and premature aging. For all installations, contact the Firestone Roofing Solutions Department, 1-800-428-4511, at least 60 days prior to bid submittal, for a review of the roofing system’s compatibility with the proposed PV system.

Response to MRCA T&R Committee Advisory on TPO
On February 10, 2010, the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association’s(MRCA) Technical and Research Committee issued an advisory on TPO roofing membranes indicating that high solar loading and elevated temperatures may lead to the breakdown of the sheet in affected areas. Such an advisory has led us to respond by investigating any specific concerns or data that the MRCA T&R committee received regarding Firestone UltraPly TPO products and to search our records for evidence of these types of concerns.
