User agrees that it will make no claim against FSBP and its related entities in connection with the use of the Materials.Further, User will indemnify FSBP and its related entities for any damage FSBP and its related entities incur related to User’s use of the Materials and its obligations under this Terms of Use.
  6. User agrees that all rights in the Materials inure to the benefit of BFS.
  7. User agrees that it retains no rights in or to the Materials.
  8. User will not use the Materials outside of their intended purpose as stated in this Terms of Use.
  9. User will in no way disparage, defame, derogate, or otherwise degrade FSBP and its related entities, its products, or the Materials.
  10. User agrees that it is solely responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to any advertising promotions.
  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP’s request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.

Tan UltraPly TPO Meets New California Title 24 Requirements
On August 1, 2009, a new version of the California Energy Efficiency Standards for Residential and Nonresidential Buildings (Title 24) will take effect. These standards define cool roofs in California to have a minimum three-year aged reflectance of 0.55 and a minimum thermal emittance of 0.75 for low-sloped nonresidential buildings.

Modified Bitumen Packaging
Firestone is pleased to announce new environmentally friendly packaging for its
modified bitumen products. The new packaging system provides less waste and decreases energy usage by reducing bulk. The new Firestone packaging system uses color coded tapes to help identify the products and eliminate the bulky, paper wraps that were historically popular in the industry for SBS products.

OTC Model Rule for Adhesives and Sealants
As part of a regional effort to achieve federally mandated standards in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, the Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) has developed a Model Rule for Adhesives and Sealants. The provisions of this model rule limit emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from adhesives, sealants and primers, including those used in roofing applications.

New Firestone Single-Ply Fully Adhered Code Approvals
Firestone is pleased to announce new Factory Mutual (FM) wind uplift ratings for its fully adhered RubberGard EPDM and UltraPly TPO roof systems. Firestone is now able to offer roof assemblies meeting FM 1-90 requirements using its standard ISO 95+ GL polyiso insulation without the use of a cover board or polyiso board with a special facer.
