To kick off its extensive sustainable building program, New Jersey-based commercial real estate company Hartz Mountain Industries embarked on a multi-million dollar rooftop makeover of the Meadowlands Exposition Center. The project features 89,000 square feet of fully adhered Firestone RubberGard EcoWhite EPDM system, quarter-inch-thick DensDeck Prime roof board over 2 inch ISO 95+ polyiso insulation and SunPower photovoltaic (PV) panels covering nearly 75 percent of the roof surface. Hartz expects the PV system to supply 500,000 kilowatt hours of clean power, more than one quarter of the building’s annual electrical consumption.

The roof was installed by Plescia Roofing, Inc.

  6. User agrees that all rights in the Materials inure to the benefit of BFS.
  7. User agrees that it retains no rights in or to the Materials.
  8. User will not use the Materials outside of their intended purpose as stated in this Terms of Use.
  9. User will in no way disparage, defame, derogate, or otherwise degrade FSBP and its related entities, its products, or the Materials.
  10. User agrees that it is solely responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to any advertising promotions.
  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP's request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.
