Due to unforeseeable circumstances, Firestone Water Based Bonding Adhesive S (Item #W563587035) is being strictly allocated, effective immediately. Firestone received notification from the supplier last week announcing a worldwide shortage of a key raw material necessary to produce this product and others, including all acrylic-based coatings and paints. 

Priority access to Firestone’s very limited inventory will be granted to ensure compliance with LEED or South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) requirements. 

Please note that during this shortage, all LEED projects will require submittal of job specifications to your local sales rep prior to approval and release of Water Based Bonding Adhesive S. 

The supply of Water Based Bonding Adhesive S is not expected to return to normal levels until August at the earliest. In the interim, please plan to use the following alternative bonding adhesives:

  • Bonding Adhesive BA 2004 (T) for EPDM (W563587052)
  • Single-Ply LVOC Bonding Adhesive for EPDM or TPO (W56358705L)
  • UltraPly Bonding Adhesive for TPO (W56TPO3005)


Be assured that we are doing everything possible to mitigate the impact of this temporary product shortage and we will keep you apprised of the situation as it changes. If you have questions regarding this product shortage, please contact your local sales representative.

User agrees that it will make no claim against FSBP and its related entities in connection with the use of the Materials.Further, User will indemnify FSBP and its related entities for any damage FSBP and its related entities incur related to User's use of the Materials and its obligations under this Terms of Use.
  6. User agrees that all rights in the Materials inure to the benefit of BFS.
  7. User agrees that it retains no rights in or to the Materials.
  8. User will not use the Materials outside of their intended purpose as stated in this Terms of Use.
  9. User will in no way disparage, defame, derogate, or otherwise degrade FSBP and its related entities, its products, or the Materials.
  10. User agrees that it is solely responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to any advertising promotions.
  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP's request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.
