Firestone is pleased to introduce a new low VOC bonding adhesive, Single-Ply LVOC Bonding Adhesive – 1168. “1168” is now available in 5-gallon pails, product number – W56-358-705LC. It can be used with either UltraPly TPO or RubberGard EPDM membranes and flashings.

Firestone Single-Ply LVOC Bonding Adhesive – 1168 is formulated for special low VOC applications. The VOC content of this new adhesive is less than 250 grams per liter, which complies with the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1168.

Firestone Single-Ply LVOC Bonding Adhesive – 1168 also complies with the LEED requirement for NC 2009 IEQc Credit 4.1: Low-Emitting Materials—Adhesives and Sealants. The intent of this credit is to reduce the quantity of indoor air contaminants that are odorous, irritating, and/or harmful to the comfort and well-being of installers and occupants.
 
 
This product complements Firestone’s full line of low VOC adhesives and demonstrates Firestone’s continued effort to provide our customers with environmentally friendly products while maintaining the performance they expect from Firestone. This exciting new LVOC product again emphasizes Firestone’s commitment to providing environmentally conscious products and it is another
reason why Firestone Red is the new Green.

  6. User agrees that all rights in the Materials inure to the benefit of BFS.
  7. User agrees that it retains no rights in or to the Materials.
  8. User will not use the Materials outside of their intended purpose as stated in this Terms of Use.
  9. User will in no way disparage, defame, derogate, or otherwise degrade FSBP and its related entities, its products, or the Materials.
  10. User agrees that it is solely responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to any advertising promotions.
  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP's request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.
