Firestone Building Products is pleased to introduce ISOGARD HD high density cover board to its expanding insulation product line. ISOGARD HD cover board is ideal for use with Firestone Roofing System membranes, including fully adhered and mechanically attached single-ply and cold-applied, as well as self-adhered modified bitumen membranes. 

Easy to Use
Lightweight and easy to cut and install, ISOGARD HD cover board offers savings from reduced labor and material during application. A single 4’ x 8’ sheet weighs only 11 pounds, allowing for easier handling and maneuvering during installation or repair.

Outstanding Performance Qualities
ISOGARD HD cover board contains a closed-cell polyiso core that uses IsoGard foam technology and can provide greater UL fire ratings. The new cover board also provides the highest thermal performance of any 1/2” cover board product on the market, and it is resistant to extreme weather conditions. ISOGARD HD cover board has a compressive strength of 120 PSI to protect the roof from potentially damaging effects from weather and foot traffic. 

Environmentally Friendly
With an R-value of 2.5, ISOGARD HD cover board can provide great energy savings and help achieve a point in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system. ISOGARD HD cover board is also made with fiberglass and a mold and moisture resistant facer, which does not support the growth of damaging fungi or bacteria, per ASTM D3273 results.

Code Compliance
Using fewer fasteners than comparable cover boards with similar wind uplift performance, ISOGARD HD cover board meets FM Global 1-90 standards.

ISOGARD HD is available at all Firestone insulation plants.

  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP's request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.
