Firestone enthusiastically announces that the UC-3, UC-4, UC-6, and UC-14 Metal Roofing Systems are now eligible for the 30-Year Platinum Warranty! The Firestone name is synonymous with quality, innovation and leadership. Our UNA-CLAD metal roofing systems have continually proven their place in the Firestone legacy through the quality of our Red Shield Contractor’s installations, the innovation of Firestone materials and systems, and the guarantee of the Firestone Platinum Warranty.


30-Year Platinum Warranty Criteria

Eligible Contractors:Red Shield Licensed Contractors with minimum four (4) Red Shield warranted metal roofing installations in the previous twelve (12) months.

Panel Profile:

Firestone UC-3, UC-4, UC-6, or UC-14

Slope:

3:12” minimum slope required.

Panel
Material:

Min. 032" painted aluminum; min. 16 oz copper; min. 0.8 mm zinc; or min. 22 gauge G-90 painted steel only (anodized aluminum and mill finish material may not be  used).

Insulation:

Firestone ISO 95+™, RESISTA™and/or Firestone ISOGARD HD™ required.

Attachment:

Stainless steel clips and screws required.

Underlayment:

CLAD-GARD™ SA required, with double-layer detailing in critical areas (penetrations, valleys, ridges, edges, etc.).

Details:

All flashings must be installed per Firestone published detail drawings and standards.

Submittals:

Full shop drawings, specifications and PIN must be submitted to Firestone minimum 4 weeks prior to job start.


UC-3 Roofing Panel: A factory formed double-lock, architectural standing seam metal roof panel provides a traditional look and utilizes mechanical seaming to enhance design needs. With its proven high wind performance capabilities, UC-3 Roofing Panel can be curved and tapered, and accommodate complex architectural geometry.

UC-4 Roofing Panel: A patented self-locking, architectural standing seam metal roof panel that completely eliminates the need for clips. UC-4 Roofing Panel's unique integral fastening flange accommodates thermal movement, and its easy snap-together seam saves installation time and money.

UC-6 Double-Lock Standing Seam Roofing Panel: A proven seaming process of Pittsburgh Locking in conjunction with the floating action of a concealed clip assembly. This design allows for expansion and contraction caused by natural elements to provide a virtually leak proof roof with exceptional uplift ratings.

UC-14 Roofing Panel: A factory formed architectural standing seam metal roof panel with a proven 1 3/4" tall continuous interlocking seam that snaps together for ease of installation. The system uses a concealed clip fastening system for added protection and is able to accommodate very long panels and virtually unlimited thermal expansion.

  6. User agrees that all rights in the Materials inure to the benefit of BFS.
  7. User agrees that it retains no rights in or to the Materials.
  8. User will not use the Materials outside of their intended purpose as stated in this Terms of Use.
  9. User will in no way disparage, defame, derogate, or otherwise degrade FSBP and its related entities, its products, or the Materials.
  10. User agrees that it is solely responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to any advertising promotions.
  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP's request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.
