New PIN Questions: - “Above-Membrane Components” – Answers to the questions in this section tell Firestone if you are also installing SkyScape garden roof systems (including SkyScape warranty rider request options), SunWave daylighting, and/or a photovoltaic system, above the roofing system.
- “Has your sales rep pre-approved any special considerations?” – Your answer to this question lets our Technical Coordinator know to contact your sales rep.
- “Does the spec require an inspection prior to closeout?” – This question lets your Technical Representative know to schedule the inspection in coordination with the Completion Date entered by the contractor.
- “Firestone TotalGard Maintenance Agreement?” – The TotalGard program is offered through Firestone Building Owner Services Department; please contact your Firestone Sales Representative for further information.
FBPCO # Assignment:
An additional feature helps with both security and with understanding when a project has been fully Authorized for warranty. You will notice that Approved PINs are not immediately assigned a FBPCO#, but are marked as Approved. The FBPCO # will only appear once the Approved Roof Drawing (ARD) and Completion Date have been submitted by the contractor and received by Firestone. The FBPCO # will be visible at all times to Firestone corporate staff, so that project documents and notes may be archived into the project file.
“View RFWs” Feature Added:
A new tab, “View RFWs,” will be added to each contractor’s secure PIN page.
Click on the tab. The top of the screen will show RFWs that are open and need contractor action:
Choose a project from the list, and the Final Inspection Report will open for you to review. If the punch list is complete, click on “Notify Quality Services – Punch List Complete.” This submits your CRFW – and you are finished! You may print a copy for your records by clicking on “Print RFW.”
To view projects you have already taken action on, scroll down in the View RFWs tab, and search for the project by FBPCO#, Warranty #, Building Name, Building Owner, and/or Building City, or you may search all Completed RFWs (CRFW) over a span of time. Your RFWs Search Results will display at the bottom of the page, and each may be opened to view the CRFW.
