Firestone is pleased to announce that the use of its UltraPly TPO QuickSeam Flashing is approved for use as a cover strip for batten strip in intermediate attachment applications. The use of UltraPly TPO QuickSeam Flashing as a batten cover strip will qualify a system for a maximum warranty length of 15 years. This application will allow greater design flexibility and labor savings when intermediate attachment of batten strip is required in areas such as perimeters and corners. 

To ensure adequate waterproofing seam width, UltraPly TPO QuickSeam Flashing is only approved for use as a cover strip over metal batten strip, coiled metal batten strip and polymer batten strip. Intermediate attachments with HD or HD+ Seam Plates still require the use of welded strips of TPO membrane for cover strip applications.

  6. User agrees that all rights in the Materials inure to the benefit of BFS.
  7. User agrees that it retains no rights in or to the Materials.
  8. User will not use the Materials outside of their intended purpose as stated in this Terms of Use.
  9. User will in no way disparage, defame, derogate, or otherwise degrade FSBP and its related entities, its products, or the Materials.
  10. User agrees that it is solely responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to any advertising promotions.
  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP's request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.
