Firestone is pleased to introduce Resista, a new polyiso insulation made with ISOGard technology and a double coated fiberglass facer. Resista compliments Firestone’s full line of insulation products by featuring new performance attributes that include mold resistance and increased fire resistance.
 
FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
  • Resista’s double coated, inorganic facer is mold resistant as demonstrated by ASTM D3273 tests.
  • Resista is the only 1” polyisocyanurate insulation board with a UL Class A rating for fire resistance, when used directly over a combustible deck. See Figure 2.
  • Resista stacks up well with other insulation boards that require up to 3.1 inches of thickness to achieve the same UL approval rating Resista attains with 1 inch.
  • Resista is compatible with all Firestone roof membranes including UltraPly TPO, RubberGard EPDM, UNA-CLAD Metal, and Modified Bitumen Systems that utilize SA Base or Firestone Multi-Purpose MB Cold Adhesive.
  • Resista can provide increased slope limitations for current Firestone UL Listings.
  • Resista is available in standard ISO thicknesses and in specific tapered ISO sizes.
  • Resista is eligible for up to a 30 year warranty in specific Firestone Red Shield systems.
  • FM codes are the same for Resista as for Standard ISO 95+ GL with the additional systems noted in Figure 3.
  • See Figure 1 for Resista recycle content.
  • Resista will be produced initially in the following Firestone locations: Florence, KY; Youngwood, PA; and Salt Lake, UT.

  10. User agrees that it is solely responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to any advertising promotions.
  11. User has read and agrees to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth in this Terms of Use Any failure to follow said rules and regulations shall require User to immediately cease use of the Materials and, at FSBP's request, either destroy or return any Materials. User shall be liable for any claims and/or damages to FSBP and its related entities.
