Updated Code Approval Guide
October 19, 2010

Firestone Building Products proudly presents an updated version of the Metal Roof System Code Approval Guide. Firestone’s continual investment in the UNA-CLAD product line has led to some new code approvals, and a number of existing test reports have been edited for clarity.

The updated guide includes:
  • All of the specifics on a number of changes to Firestone’s Miami-Dade NOA’s, with the new NOA numbers and expiration dates
  • Corrections to the fastener types associated with several UL 580 tested metal roofing assemblies
  • Additional ASTM E 1592 data for our UC-4 panel system The Metal Roof System Code Approval

The Metal Roof System Code Approval Guide can be found online in the Firestone Technical Database.

Firestone is committed to the metal roofing industry and to providing our metal roofing customers with complete, warranted, and tested roofing systems that satisfy or exceed the expectations of the marketplace. This guide is a tool to help navigate that marketplace, and one more way Firestone demonstrates that “Nobody Covers You Better.”
