Judge Memorial High School
Salt Lake City, UT
Choosing Firestone Building Products UltraPly™ TPO was the perfect choice for Judge Memorial High School. The first Firestone UltraPly TPO Roofing System in Utah was installed over the auditorium of Judge Memorial High School in 1998. Approximately 45,000 square feet of 45-mil UltraPly TPO replaced a built-up roof that had exceeded its performance life cycle.
Since the install, project contractor Blake Redd, Vice President of Superior Roofing Company, Inc., said they’ve received no complaints or repair requests regarding the Judge Memorial auditorium roof. Judge Memorial Maintenance Supervisor Ken Lewis reported that the UltraPly TPO roof remains white and is still performing strong after 15 years.
Judge Memorial officials were so pleased with the performance of the 45-mil UltraPly TPO on their auditorium that school officials chose the same material to recover their 56,000 square feet gymnasium roof in the summer of 2010.
