Kansas State University Basketball Training Facility
Kansas State University Basketball Training Facility
Manhattan, Kansas
Kansas State University (KSU) needed a long-term, durable roofing solution for their newly constructed basketball training facility. The 34,000 square foot building contains state-of-the-art training facilities for KSU’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, including full-size practice courts.
Because the area experiences severe weather, KSU requested a high-quality, no-nonsense roofing system. With the help of Firestone Building Products partner, KC Sales, a modified bitumen roofing system was selected using SEBS Mopping Asphalt—a rubber polymer product from Firestone that doubles as both a waterproofing agent and an adhesive. KSU also selected a 20-year Red Shield™ Warranty to protect their new facility well into the future.
