Out of an abundance of caution, we will be temporarily shutting down manufacturing operations at our EPDM, asphalt, metal, TPO, coatings and spray foam manufacturing facilities in North America. ISO facilities, distribution centers and plant based warehouses will remain open.
A temporary phased shutdown will begin Sunday, March 29 at all manufacturing locations in North America.
The company is closely monitoring the situation in terms of employee safety and welfare, as well as business continuity and will continue to update facility plans, as necessary.
We’ve been preparing for this possibility and FSBP is confident it is in a position to continue serving our customer needs while prioritizing employee safety. We are following rapid response plans developed by our Enterprise Crisis Management Team (ECMT). The ECMT is meeting daily to assess coronavirus impacts to the regions in which we operate as well as mitigate any potential impacts to our supply chain. We are taking every possible step to minimize disruption to your business due to the temporary shutdown. Our distribution centers, plant warehouses and logistics teams will continue to fill customer orders while implementing virus prevention measures, such as practicing social distancing and following handwashing protocols.
While this is a challenging time, please know we are very focused on business continuity and ensuring the integrity of our operations. We are confident with the protocols we have in place that we will be able to continue to provide you with the products you need. Our supply chain is strong, our network inventories are healthy, and our distribution centers have a proper level of forward months coverage.
Thank you for your continued support as we work hard to support you and please don’t hesitate to contact your FSBP representative with any questions.
